Another visit to “The Great Frame Up” and another sentimental painting completely transformed!
After receiving the usual warm greeting from owners Bart and Darlene, I showed them a treasured water color painting of 2 bananas along with a sample tile from our renovated kitchen.
Darlene took no time at all to get to work. With purpose, she began searching her collection of mats and within moments, pulled out a soft lavender mat, then suggested a brushed silver frame. It was amazing! And so is she! My tired and dated bananas leaped off the canvas, full of new life!

My wife and I were celebrating our "paper" anniversary and I wanted to have our proposal message framed. It was written on a restaurant-style menu which is delicate and I did not want it to be damaged. Bert put me at ease by framing a duplicate menu. The custom framing process normally takes a couple of weeks, but he constructed and finished it in ONE day! His wife asked me about our love story, which I gladly obliged. The frame came out better than I could have expected!
Bert's work is exquisite. He's committed to his craft and his customers. He went above and beyond to accommodate my request.
My wife was moved to tears when I presented it to her since it's something she wants to keep forever.
