My wife and I were celebrating our "paper" anniversary and I wanted to have our proposal message framed. It was written on a restaurant-style menu which is delicate and I did not want it to be damaged. Bert put me at ease by framing a duplicate menu. The custom framing process normally takes a couple of weeks, but he constructed and finished it in ONE day! His wife asked me about our love story, which I gladly obliged. The frame came out better than I could have expected!

Bert's work is exquisite. He's committed to his craft and his customers. He went above and beyond to accommodate my request.
My wife was moved to tears when I presented it to her since it's something she wants to keep forever.
I can't thank Bert enough. I will definitely support his business again in the future!

Unbelievable patience with my indecision! The input was invaluable, the quality of the work was exceptional, and I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. It was a small job and the customer service and attention to detail for it was SO appreciated.

There are never enough good words I can say to express my feeling about this place of business, but in layman's terms their workmanship and customer service is top notch.

The restoration of the art piece have been a rewarding experience for me with the assistance of the great framer up & Parker Art Restoration. Although I am not Catholic I can appreciate history because our origin and inputs (good or bad) connect our life experiences, and explain to some degree, who we are as people or perhaps someday who we will eventually become.

Walking into “The Great Frame Up” for the first time turned a casual day of window shopping into a fabulous adventure for mom and me. Right away, we knew we had stumbled across a gold mine! The samples of work on display were magnificent, with interesting details that made their framing unique.
We were greeted by the friendly and talented husband and wife team of Bart and Darlene. We chatted about the art work hiding under our beds and inside our closets as well as sentimental pictures with tired frames, out-of-date matt colors and cloudy glass. The dynamic duo shared their expertise and offered insightful suggestions on how to bring our beloved family heirlooms back to life.
We were so excited we returned the next day with several needlepoint and water color pictures in hand. I brought in my husband’s basketball shirt, along with sentimental photos and an old newspaper article. Bart restored the article and created a beautifully framed collage that looks fantastic. Most special for both mom and me was Bart’s restoration of a picture of my beloved sister and me taken in 1965, still my favorite picture of us. The restoration of color and clarity was beyond belief and drove me to tears. Restoring family heirlooms…breathing new life into treasured art work…giving a facelift to sentimental photos.
You won’t believe the joy you’ll get from having your treasured items in sight, hanging on a wall. So, take a moment and look under your bed and in the back of your closet. Find your sentimental treasures and head over to “The Great Frame Up” and discover the possibilities. You’ll be glad you did!

Darlene did an awesome job on stretching a canvas over a frame for us. I was blown away on how perfectly Beautiful the canvas ended up to be once framed. Will definitely use them again for my framing needs.

Bart and Darlene, the couple behind The Great Frame Up, Mount Laurel, are truly masters of their craft. I was lucky enough to have their shop within walking distance of my house and stumbled upon the best frame shop in South Jersey. So far, my wife and I have had almost thirty pieces framed by Bart and Dar; most of it concert posters, but they’ve done some photographs and a few other special pieces.
We’ve had several people joke that our main wall looks like an art gallery and it’s all thanks to Bart and Dar. Our posters are the artwork, so we’ve chosen simple frames and matting to let the artwork stand out. Even in the simplest application, the frame work done is impeccably. The duo offers their advice freely when we’ve taken non-concert related pieces to them, too. Their work is beautiful, we’ve never been disappointed.
My favorite piece is a shadowbox that Bart put together from my trip to Super bowl 50. I tried to do it myself and it looked like a kindergarten art project. Bart skillfully placed my memories and other pieces of memorabilia; I was nearly moved to tears when it was completed. I would recommend Bart and Darlene to anyone looking to have something framed. I know it’s because of them, the memories they’ve preserved will last forever.

Went to Joanne's to see about getting something matted as a Christmas present. They couldn't guarantee Christmas delivery.
I called the Great Frame Up and they told me they could probably do it while I waited. I popped in after work and they matted it in less than 15 minutes!!! The price was very reasonable too!!!
I'm never going to Joanne's again. Great Frame Up has earned a lifelong customer!

Bart went over and above to help locate a framer near me that had a similar frame and matting to match the pieces he and his wife had done for me when I lived in NJ, thank you!
