I feel like I'm perpetually searching for the best value or best price and, as usual, I find it not online or at a big box vendor, but by leaving my house and utilizing a local brick & mortar. Darlene and Bart are warm, consultative, and professional. They set realistic expectations, provide competitive pricing, and put together an outstanding finished product. Please utilize their services before checking Michael's or Framebridge (who also do solid work, I'm sure) and support a neighbor and local business instead.

UPDATE: I am updating this review, as we have had additional work done since my original post. Same team still there. Still the same care and craftsmanship. Rare these days to find a service provider like them.
In a day where service is hard to find, the GFU team makes personal connections and executes your vision perfectly. They are lovely folks that take great pride in their work.

My wife and I were celebrating our "paper" anniversary and I wanted to have our proposal message framed. It was written on a restaurant-style menu which is delicate and I did not want it to be damaged. Bert put me at ease by framing a duplicate menu. The custom framing process normally takes a couple of weeks, but he constructed and finished it in ONE day! His wife asked me about our love story, which I gladly obliged. The frame came out better than I could have expected!
Bert's work is exquisite. He's committed to his craft and his customers. He went above and beyond to accommodate my request.
My wife was moved to tears when I presented it to her since it's something she wants to keep forever.
I can't thank Bert enough. I will definitely support his business again in the future!

Unbelievable patience with my indecision! The input was invaluable, the quality of the work was exceptional, and I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. It was a small job and the customer service and attention to detail for it was SO appreciated.
